Blood Lake is one of those movies that show how a horror movie could be made by anyone in the 80's. Don't get me wrong, I'm not bashing it, it came along at the time when everyone and every studio was pumping out anything horror. I love slasher movies, and this movie is something every slasher fan should witness.
Blood Lake is a film about some teenagers that go out to a lake house for a weekend.
As usual, sex, drugs, and drinking start and this brings out our mysterious killer. While the teens are enjoying some water skiing and drinking, someone is stalking their lake house and watching every move they make.
Soon the friends are picked off one by one eventually leading us to the explanation of who the killer is, and why he is full of rage.
I know this is short, all I can say is this is a must watch to really get the full effect.
I'm from the south, but these kids, are really southern. I think a lot of this move was off script. It feels like some people got some money together and decided to make a horror movie. Well, it was the 80's.
will admit that it is a fun movie, and gives you some good laughs. Don't go into this looking for something that scares the hell out of you, just go watch it and have fun.
