Hospital Massacre of X-Ray is a cool horror film. While going for a follow up with her doctor, Susan gets suddenly finds herself admitted without an explanation. Soon, she realizes something is very wrong in this hospital. People are dying and the doctors and nurses do not believe Susan. Soon, she comes face to face with the killer, is it someone from her past, or is it just a crazy person from the hospital?

I like this movie. I just wish it would have kept my attention better. Maybe it’s my ADD, who knows. I love the way it keeps you guessing who is the killer, and the hospital adds to the scares because who really likes to go to the hospital? Barbi Benton plays  Susan, and she was very believable in some of her scenes. Very beautiful lady that seems  to have bad luck follow her throughout  the film.

The movie is 80’s all the way. I mean you could smoke in the hospital, they were fumigating a floor, the doctors did not have to tell you anything. The one thing that always bothers me about hospital horror movies is why is it so quiet there? The hallways are empty, and it’s not over run with nurses and doctors and people. Every time I have been in the hospital or visited someone the place is a madhouse. So that was my other problem with it. But, I liked it and will continue to watch this film over and over. If you haven’t had the pleasure go watch it now.

Watched this today. Wow, a metal band filming a video in the mountains. Fighting for their lives against a reclusive family that lives in a abandoned factory. 80’s all the way. I highly recommend this, all fans of horror will love this gem. Hopefully one day it will be remastered and on Blu-ray.

Decided to revisit this classic from the 80’s. Michael Ironside is so awesome in this movie. That dude is a perfect psychopath. You got to love a horror movie set in a hospital, but really, what hospital have you ever been in where the halls are empty and the place is pretty quiet? Do you think the people behind this were hoping that this movie would have the same push that Halloween 2 had with horror fans. I mean both are set in hospitals, and one year apart. What do you think. This film is good though, you even have William Shatner in it. I like any movie that shows how ruthless Michael Ironside can be. This guy obsesses over his prey, and will not stop until he kills them. This is just another reason why 80’s horror rules supreme. You can stream it now on NETFLIX.

I watched this 80’s gem this morning. It’s been a while, and I was wanting to relive my childhood with Commander U.S.A. The movie is cheesy, and a rip off of big budget Hollywood cyborg movies, but I love it. The story is about a prototype robot built for crime combat awakens and goes on a rampage, killing anyone who breaks the law.  The scientist who created this monster must now destroy it. This could only exist in the 80’s. Bad acting, bad stunts, a cook with awful buck teeth. One of the scientist looks like a female body builder, and the other one, this dude is a cop who I guess is a jack of all trades. Scientist, cop, tracker, The dude is rad. The fight scenes are glorious, I love every minute of this movie. One other thing, the robot that works in the lab is hilarious, I want one for my house!. This is one of those movies that you looked at on the shelf of the video store and maybe passed by. I recommend you check it out, it’s a fun watch, and brings back that 80’s nostalgia we all miss.

I know when we think of Robert Englund, we think Freddy Kruger. Even though he is the only person who will forever be Freddy, I want to take a look at some of his other work. I mean this guy directed 976-EVIL. That is a classic! I would love to see him direct more films. He was brilliant in Phantom of the Opera, He was so brutal, and elegant it is one of my favorite Englund films. Let’s not forget Buck from Eaten Alive. This guy has a body of work that is incredible. Playing a wide variety of characters from psychopaths, aliens, rednecks, etc.etc.  I appreciate the work of Robert Englund in the horror genre. From the 70’s to today he has been making us horror fans beg for more, and he continues to steal the show in whatever role he plays. So, watch a few of his other films. This dude is brilliant. You can watch Phantom of the Opera right now on NETFLIX.
