Dismembering Christmas

Last night I got the chance to check out the latest film from Slasher Studios,Dismembering Christmas.
I know most of you have viewed their last film Don't Go To The Reunion, or maybe the short film Teddy.
Watching the two films made me fall in love with Slasher Studios, so when I got the chance to watch Dismembering Christmas I jumped all over it.

Dismembering Christmas is a movie about a group of friends getting together during the holidays, in a remote cabin.
The group of Sam, Justin, Emma, Mark, Katie, Travis, Lauren, and Claire are getting together to enjoy the holidays. Tempers are tested, old flames are rekindled, and debauchery is to be had. Crazy locals showing up randomly, sharing stories of killings that happened there years ago, making these friends very uncomfortable. Soon, strange things start to happen, and they are hunted down one by one making this one holiday retreat they should have skipped out on. Who could this maniac be? The killer from a past holiday? The crazy lady up the road? The police officer that won't let the murders rest? Who will survive this holiday massacre?

Slasher Studios delivers again with this unique holiday slasher. These guys are horror fans and know exactly what we want. This film has it all, suspense, gore, kills that you will make you cheer.
The writers Kevin Sommerfield and Steve Goltz weave together a tale that all of us will be talking about and watching for holidays to come. They make characters that all of us have known in our lives. Some of them you cheer for, and some you cheer to die, whatever the case, they make it easy for us to get involved with them.
Director Austin Bosley, who pulls double duty playing Travis, is brilliant. The way the kills are shown, it makes you feel like it's right beside you. The environment is also used to make you feel cramped up in some scenes, or extremely cold in others. I loved the camera flow throughout the movie.

With nods to classic holiday slashers, and believe me, it will put a smile on your face when you recognize it, this will be not only one of your favorite slasher films, but something you watch every Christmas holiday.
This will take you back to walking through the video store trying to pick out a new horror movie, it's stays true to what every slasher fan has come to love.

So, please do yourself a favor and pick up this movie!
Go over and show some love to Slasher Studios, just click on it over on my blogroll.
